Dr. Telles served 6-years active duty in the US Navy as a hospital corpsman “medic”. After serving honorably in the US Navy, Dr. Telles obtained his undergraduate degree and then went on to obtain his Physician Assistant (PA) degree from Howard University in Washington DC. Following graduation, he worked at Suburban Hospital Johns Hopkins Medicine as a PA where he specialized in spine, orthopedic and trauma surgery. He then went on to obtain his M.D. from Saba University School of Medicine and completed his Residency in Anesthesiology from the Medical College of Wisconsin in 2020. Dr. Telles then completed his Interventional Pain Fellowship at the University of Minnesota in 2021.

 

Dr. Telles specializes and treats joint & muscle pain, spinal arthritis, radiculopathy, sciatica, herniated disc, post laminectomy syndrome, sacroiliac joint dysfunction, post herpetic neuralgia, occipital neuralgia, fibromyalgia, diabetic neuropathy, migraines and primary headache, complex regional pain syndrome and many other pain disorders. Additionally, he provides comprehensive pain evaluations and has a special interest in neuromodulation.
